Monthly Reset

Pay-What-Feels-Supportive

First Sunday of the Month
2:00-3:00 PM

*June’s session is at the Fortville Community Center

This monthly session is an opportunity to reset and reconnect—supporting your mind, body, and nervous system as you move into the month ahead.

Through the gentle resonance of sound, you’ll be guided from your normal waking state into a deeply relaxed, meditative space—allowing the body’s natural restorative processes to come forward and bring you back into balance.

This session is currently offered as a pay-what-feels-supportive experience. You’re invited to contribute in a way that feels aligned for you at this time.

Venmo, PayPal, or cash contributions are welcome.

FAQs

  • Please bring a yoga mat (or zero-gravity chair), blanket, pillow and any props you may want to use like a yoga bolster or additional blanket to roll up and and tuck under your knees for support. Feel free to bring an eye mask or scarf to amplify your hearing senses.

It’s also highly recommended you come with an open heart and mind.

  • The name of the game is comfy and cozy so we encourage you to come wearing loose clothing. And if you tend to get cold, feel free to add an extra layer for added comfort and don’t forget those socks!

  • Absolutely! Laying down is just one way to experience a resonant recharge. You may also sit on a cushion or in a chair if that is more accessible to you.

  • No meditation experience is needed. In fact, a sound meditation is where we recommend beginners start. The sound has a powerful way of helping taking you to a deep meditative space—all you have to do listen.

  • Sound baths affect every person differently. Some may feel tired after the experience, while another may feel energized.

Some people may experience temporary discomfort, such as headaches or nausea, during or after an immersive sound session. This is usually due to the release of tension and/or pent-up emotions that have been stored in the body. If you experience discomfort at any time, it is important to stop the session and rest.

You can drink plenty of water and get a good night's sleep to better prepare for your sound meditation and to help your body recover after.
